Lifetime Memory AI

Coaching AI that retains complete client history (every PR, meal, check-in, wearable signal) across the full coach-client relationship.

What it actually means

Lifetime Memory AI refers to coaching software architecture where the AI plan-generation model has access to a client's entire historical training, nutrition, and check-in data when suggesting next-session programming. Unlike "session-based" AI (which only sees the current week or month), lifetime memory architecture lets the AI reason about long-term progression patterns, what worked in month 6 vs month 18, and which interventions correlate with client retention.

Distinguishing it from look-alikes

Most "AI coaching" products use generic LLMs (ChatGPT, Claude) with prompt-injection of recent client data. That's session-based AI. Lifetime memory AI requires purpose-built data architecture: every client interaction is structured for retrieval, the AI queries the full history each time, and the model is fine-tuned on coaching-specific reasoning rather than general conversation. Cadence is lifetime-memory by design.

Examples

Cadence
Lifetime memory — AI reads every PR, meal, check-in across the full client history when suggesting next progression
ChatGPT-based AI plans
Session-based — AI sees only the prompt context, no persistent client memory
Most "AI features" in coaching apps
Generic LLM bolted on top of existing data — not architecturally lifetime-aware
