How it actually works
No tracking pixels, no UTM dance. We watch the email field on signup. If a coach lists you as their referrer, we count it. Honor system on small numbers — easy to verify at this scale.
- 1. Share your unique referral link with coaches you genuinely think Cadence would help. We give you `vantagedigital.dev/cadence?ref=YOURNAME` after you sign up.
- 2. They sign up at any Cadence tier (Founding, Coach, Studio, etc.). They list you in the "How did you hear about us" field.
- 3. Once they hit 30 days paid (so we know it's a real referral, not a same-day cancellation), they count toward your 3 or 5.
- 4. You hit 3 → Studio Tier features unlock immediately. 5 → both tiers unlock + we email you to set up your /coaches profile feature.
Why this beats traditional referral commissions

Why don't you offer a normal commission?
We do offer one too — see /partners for the standard affiliate program (commission-based, 20% recurring, 12-month cookie). The asymmetric perks above are SPECIFICALLY for founding cohort coaches who refer 3+ coaches in 90 days — and they're more valuable than commission at this stage.
Is there a deadline to hit the 3 / 5 referrals?
90 days from your founding cohort signup. We picked 90 days because it forces meaningful action without dragging on. If you hit 3 in month 4 instead of month 3, no perks. (We'll occasionally extend for coaches who are within 1 referral and clearly trying — case by case.)
Do my referrals also have to be founding cohort?
No. They can sign up at any tier — Founding ($39), Coach ($79), Studio ($179), Agency ($499). All count equally toward your 3 or 5. Larger-tier referrals just mean more revenue for us, which means we can afford to give you the perks.
What if a referral cancels after 30 days?
The referral counts permanently once it hits 30 days paid. We won't claw back perks if your referral churns later — that would erode trust in the program.
Can I refer myself? Or my own studio?
No. Self-referrals + same-business referrals don't count. The honor-system check we do is "is this a different individual + practice?". If yes, it counts.
What happens after I hit 3 or 5?
Tier 1 (3 referrals) unlocks immediately upon the 3rd referral hitting 30 days paid. Tier 2 (5 referrals) unlocks the IG co-marketing slot + featured placement within 7 business days. We email you to confirm both.
