Payments
Stripe Connect — coach-direct billing.
Every coach is the merchant of record for their own clients. Client money flows directly to the coach's Stripe account; Cadence never sees, holds, or processes client payment data. Standard Connect onboarding takes 5 minutes.

Stripe Connect (Standard)
Coach signs up for Stripe Connect during onboarding. Subscription billing, one-time charges, refunds, dunning, dispute management — all handled in the coach's own Stripe dashboard. Cadence creates checkout sessions; Stripe handles everything downstream.

Wearables
Six platforms. Daily sync. AI-aware.
Client connects their wearable account in their Cadence app — Cadence pulls their workout, sleep, recovery, and activity data on a daily sync. Coach sees it in the dashboard. The AI plan-generation engine factors recovery and HRV signals into next-block programming.

Whoop
Strain, recovery score, sleep stages, HRV, RHR. Daily sync. Coach views per-client recovery curves; AI factors low-recovery days into next-week programming (auto-deload triggers when recovery score crashes 3 days running).

Email
Transactional email — coach-branded sender.
Confirmation emails, check-in reminders, billing receipts, password resets. Sender name and reply-to are coach-branded; Cadence is invisible to clients in the email flow.

Brevo (transactional)
Cadence routes all client-facing transactional email through Brevo. Coach picks the from-name and reply-to address during onboarding. Studio and Agency tiers can request custom SMTP if they want to use their own email service.

Build-your-own
Webhooks for whatever else you need.
Cadence emits webhooks for the four highest-value events. Wire them to Zapier, Make.com, n8n, or your own server — automate anything Cadence doesn't do natively.
Webhook
client.signed_up
Fires when a new client completes signup + payment. Use cases: trigger an SMS welcome via Twilio, add to Notion CRM, post to internal Slack/Discord.
payload: client_id, email, plan, signup_at
Webhook
checkin.submitted
Fires when a client submits a scheduled check-in. Use cases: auto-create a coach review task in Asana, calendar a follow-up reminder, sync photo measurements to Airtable.
payload: client_id, checkin_id, week, photos[], notes
Webhook
payment.succeeded
Fires after a successful Stripe charge. Use cases: log to your accounting system, send a personalized thank-you sequence, update lifetime-value tracking.
payload: client_id, amount, period, stripe_charge_id
Webhook
subscription.cancelled
Fires when a client subscription cancels (at period end). Use cases: trigger a winback email sequence, log to retention dashboard, alert coach for personal outreach.
payload: client_id, cancel_reason, last_period_end
Frequently asked
Does Cadence integrate with Whoop?
Yes. Whoop strain, recovery, sleep, and HRV sync daily once a client connects their account. Coaches see the data alongside check-ins; the AI plan-generation engine factors recovery scores into next-block programming.
Does Cadence integrate with Apple Watch?
Yes — via HealthKit. Workouts, heart rate, activity rings, sleep, VO2 max all sync once the client grants permission on their iPhone. About 60% of US client rosters use Apple Watch, so this is the most-used integration.
Can I add an integration that's not on this list?
Yes, two ways. (1) Webhooks — wire Cadence's 4 native webhook events to Zapier/Make/n8n and bridge to anything else. (2) Studio + Agency tiers can request custom integrations as part of onboarding; we evaluate based on demand and feasibility.
How does Cadence handle client payments?
Stripe Connect — every coach is the merchant of record. Client subscription payments flow directly into the coach's Stripe account; Cadence never sees, holds, or processes client payment data. The coach's $39-$499/mo Cadence subscription is the only thing flowing the other direction.
Does Cadence sync with my CRM (HubSpot, Pipedrive, Notion)?
Not natively yet — but the webhook + Zapier path makes it work in ~10 minutes of setup. The most common pattern: client.signed_up webhook → Zapier → create record in HubSpot/Pipedrive/Notion CRM.
